Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Whole family goes for a walk Our weather has been blistering by Anchorage standards (low 70s), so we took the whole family for a walk. The boys had to lead the way because this was Rosebud's first walk. You can imagine the stares we got. The last picture is proof that Kelly is Dr. Doolittle. In addition to having a macaw and two Yorkies following her, a ladybug hopped on for the ride.

| Very cute! Your own walking ASPCA! Lady bugs are good luck. Megan loves them. One of my favorite movie scenes is the male lady bug in BUGS, it's hysterical. What a fun outing for the AY family!

| I didn't know about Rosebud! How beautiful she is! The boys looks like they had a grrrrreat time and Kelly is Definitely Dr. Doolittle! You said the whole family... why aren't you in the picture? And do give me the "But I was the one taking the picture" excuse! There is a thingy on the camera called a "Timer". What a terrific family! Does Rosebud tell the boys what to do? Like does she tease the boys and say "Sit" or "Let's go outside" or call thier names?

How old is yours? I've taken as many pictures of her as I've taken of the dogs, so we'll have to exchange sometime! Very cool there's another green-winged macaw owner out there.

Of course, she also laughs. She bit me one time, and I chased her around the bed trying to put her away in her cage, but she hid behind her mama and just started laughing. She laughed so hard she SNORTED. Pretty soon we were all snorting. No wonder she gives me no respect.

| WOW 14 huh? Maeson is only a year old. I waited for awhile for him and got him after he was weaned. He is also a mama's boy. Nobody can handle him the way I can. He's a very sweet bird and loves to hug and cuddle. I am trying to teach him how to speak and he is getting there. He says, 'Hi' and 'Hello' and 'Love you Love you' I always wanted a macaw but I was afraid because I was so inexperienced with birds ..... I was afraid to get something so big but I don't regret it at all and he is a major part of my life. Does your Rosebud speak? How did you come about getting her? Is she a girl? Can she be Maeson's girlfriend if she isn't already involved?! LOL here are some dropshots of him! http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?use...cdate=20060523 |
