| Chocolate Yorkie? hello, So I just adopted this little guy and kinda thinking hes a chocolate yorkie. Hazel eyes, brown nose, copper hair on the face.... the lady before me said she got his DNA tested and he was 100% teacup yorkie. Before him, I had a YorkieX Lhasa and he had the silver and black Yorkie coloring. looked more like a yorkie than my new guy does,. Doesn't matter to me. but wanted to post and get everyones thoughts. I dont need rude comments, this guy needed love, patience and to be trained and I took him in. hes only 11 months old. he will be 1 year old on Oct 21, 2017. Thanks everyone, A |

| Congrats on your new baby, yep, he's a chocolate yorkie and an adorable one at that. What makes you think you would get rude comments? As for this lady saying he is 100% "teacup" there is no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie. There is only one kind of yorkie, and that is a "yorkie", due to poor breeding they do come in all sizes. My boy weighs 12 pounds, "poor breeding" then you have those "so called breeders" who breed for a smaller then standard weight yorkie (5 to 7 pounds), and call them "teacups" to get big bucks for an ill breed dog. Just trying to educate you on the breed. Yorkies are in the class toy breeds that should weigh 5 to 7 pounds. We do have several members that have chocolate yorkies. Enjoy your lil baby.

| I’m not sure what kind of rude comments you think you might get. He looks kinda part chocolate and part traditional. Most chocolate Yorkies have brown hair. I do have to mention there isn’t such thing as a teacup Yorkie. I’m happy you took him in.
