| I got my Yorkie without even knowing what the heck docking was. I just thought their tails were naturally short!!! LOL Then I came on here and found out real quick!

| I always tell people that it gives them character if there not Docked in a specific breed. Those are really great pictures

According to the AKC standard the Yorkie's tail needs to be docked. If you're not going to "show" her, it doesn't matter. I've also read that when a Yorkie's tail isn't docked they have a higher chance of injuring their tail. Now whether that's true or not is beyond me.
