| Hard to get used to short coat! Here are some (large) pics of Teddy's grooming results today. He kinda looks feral, like a 4 lb coyote! It's hard for me to get used to: |

| That's very nicely done! The long hair on his legs remind me of chaps, cowboys working cattle... or the more decorative Hollywood type chaps. Looks very good! |

| I know what you mean. I just chopped down my Teddy and I just hate it. I think your Teddy looks very nice. I'm not a big fan of the longer hair on the legs and shorter hair on the body but he looks cute

| He looks great! In a week you won't remember what the "old" Teddy looked like! We just had Max and Sasha cut short too on Sunday. I think it is the best way for them now that the warmer weather is here.

| Thanks all! I feel better knowing that other people don't like it and that others think it's okay because I'm on the fence about it myself.. I find his manhood so prominently on display a little disturbing but he seems proud of it! My groomer hates when Yorkie legs are cut close because she says it gives them a 'bobble head' effect in her opinion which I agree with but I'm not sure I'm loving the 70s elephant leg look either. Oh WELL, it grows out, right!! At least he won't be hot..weather is getting pretty warm here in England and matts are no fun for anyone during the Spring/Summer! |

| I love it too! I was going for this cut on Zoey myself....my first attempt isn't quite that short, but she has the rounded face ( I still like her long ear hair) and still straight with a tiny skirt Do you trim teddys hair on top of his snout? Zoeys poof up under her eyes and partially blocks her vision. Even when it was long. I can gel it down for a while but once she runs or starts playing its proofed back up there. Im afraid cutting it down will make it worse since it's right on top...

I never trim any fur around Teddy's muzzle because it sticks up like you have described when it has been cut. I know that you can trim the whiskers off under the mustache so the hair goes flatter to the side of the muzzle, though. A show groomer taught me that! Further towards the front of the muzzle around the nose, though, I guess you could just keep clipping it if it sticks up whether it is cut or not..? Teddy has his own weird snout hair thing going on but I just leave it cuz it adds to his already well established weirdness | |

| I think Teddy looks very cool with the new haircut! Your groomer did a really good job. I personally like that the hair is on his legs. Miss Sunni has giant ears, I think she would definitely look like a bobble head dog with all her hair off. |
