Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | On A Bicycle Built For Two Hey guys! We took Katie Scarlett on her first long bike ride today. We have been around the block a few times but nothing major. Today we went to a local trail to ride. We rode 4 miles. I'm hoping this will be fun for her and help Momma lose a few pounds! She seemed to love it. She loved the breeze blowing in her hair when we would go down hill. She would stick her head out and it was so funny. I took her travel water bottle and we stopped every little bit to give her some water. It was actually not too hot. We had so much fun! I got the hubby to snap a few pix. We are already thinking about going again tomorrow! We got her basket on Amazon. It can be found HERE if anyone is wondering. It secured onto my bike pretty well. She seems to feel confident in it. It does take some getting used to on the part of the rider, but we got the hang of it after a bit.

| So cute!!! I have that exact same bike! Unfortunately, I ordered a large basket for ZoE (she's a teapot) and it doesn't fit the bike as it's supposed to mount on the headtube and there's not enough room for it, so she's not been able to enjoy a bike ride yet. But seeing KS loving it is inspiring me to get my bike to a bikeshop & see if they can rig up something. Fall weather would be perfect for bike riding.

| KS looks so cute and like she is loving it, Lola and I ride the trails at the parks all the time, I think the farthest I have gone with her is 15 miles so as you progress she will be just fine. Dogs normally love the wind and looking around, I think Lola prefers bike riding to going for a walk.
