| Believe me he already has! He fits in perfect with us and is so mischevious and full of personality ha ha. The only sad part is that it is very apparent he has been beat. He gets scared if you breath wrong... or even just look at him unusual. He is warming up quickly though. It melted me last night when I came home from work and for the first time he went crazy like most dogs do when you get home... he also started to play with toys for the first time yesterday! Sad when a dog does not even know what a toy is. He has some fairly severe seperation anxiety but he is starting to work through it a little it seems. He is only a year old and this is already his third home that we know of... I am guessing this is where the anxiety comes from. He does fairly decent as long as he is not confined to a crate or anything of that sort. We are working on making the crate a recognized safe place but it is slow go... I don't have a whole lot of experience with seperation anxiety problems but it breaks my heart to see him get so bent out of shape thinking we arent coming back. If anyone has any tips PLEASE feel free to enlighten. This little guys history would be insteresting to know for sure... either way he is obviously right where he belongs what a wonderful gift for the holidays!!!!! |
