| Grey hair? :o So, Jimmy's hair is changing on his head and no where else yet. He a few days past 4 months old. I noticed his hair on his head is turning grey underneath but everywhere else is the black and red hair. His back hair is getting really poofy and long. Not super long but getting there. But I don't notice the underside of his hair on his back changing. Here is the picture of his head. I wonder what kind of hair color he will end up with in the long run. I'm excited. I would love his hair to be long silky black on his back with the light color on the head. What do you all think? The first 2 are of him couple nights ago. His face is a little dirty in the second one. I cleaned him up a bit last night so he wouldn't be getting the nasty eye boogers as bad. The third one is of him back @ oct 25th.

| Yep.. your baby is growing up. With my three, the head was the first to change color. Actually, they looked like me when the grey starts showing and I need a dye job. He is a cutie. !!

| I don't want him to grow up but I can't wait to see what he looks like when he does His hair is fluffy and thick so I'm wondering if he is considered a cotton coat?

| Oh and here is a picture of his Dad. I can't find the picture of his Mom though If I find it I will post. His Mom had a lot of white on her chest and was lighter colored. She is 7 pounds Dad is 4.5. Jimmy is 3.5 pounds right now.

| Couver had grey roots when he was a puppy and now his head is blonde and his body is a darker steel color.

YT Addict | yup dolce had gray hair when she was about 4 months old as well. she is now a year old and it is still grayish/silver on top but it is starting to grown in a light blonde. Her hair grows slow I think. Bentley is 11 weeks old and he has kinda started breaking color on the top of his head. I can see the silver/gray slightly peeking through and also around his eyes is starting to change to tan.

| I found Jimmy's moms picture, well, the picture I downloaded says "Cricket Look Alike" as the name of the file". His dad is a couple threads up. She is 6 pounds (but when I got Jimmy the page said 7 pounds and so did the breeder, they also had 4 pounds for Dad and that's what the breeder told me hmm) They are also both on this page, second set of parents. Cricket and Toby. Our Puppies

| When my pups hair started changing everyone said she looked bald because the hair was sooo light. Honestly, I had to look twice a few times to make sure it was growing right. Now, her head it a light light silver color with black tips on the hair(might have to have those cut off next groomer apt). She is now 5months old and her back is starting to change to the steel color. It parts down the middle of her back so you can really tell its changing. As I was giving her a bath yesterday I noticed a lot of tiny short baby hairs growing in toward the back of her head like behind her top knot, and they are the tan color. Lord only knows what she will change to when she is fully grown. Or at least when her hair is fully grown because I think they change colors a few times before they are done... Right?? I will post a pic of the color she is now on her head. I just posted this pic the other day but it is the only one i have recent that show off her "grey hair" |

| I saw that picture the other day too! I had to look twice because your baby looks like my baby! Jimmy is almost 5 months too (on the 10th) but he hasn't really started changing anywhere but his head. I'm anxious as all heck to see what it looks like. Yeah, I do hear they change a few times or maybe not changing but prgressing? I really cannot wait for the finished result but I want him to stay like a puppy
