Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Tallulah's first visit to her groomer Tallulah went to her groomer for the first time today. This place is called "Scrubby Puppy" in Upland, CA. I loved all the people there and they treated Tallulah so well! Her groomer asked me what I wanted in detail before she ever started working on her and she did exactly what I wanted. Tallulah behaved pretty well until they got to her face. The groomer apologized to me because her face wasn't trimmed perfectly even since she was so fidgety, but I was delighted in the result. We will be going back there on a regular basis. Here are some pics of the whole process on my flickr.com account. Tallulah 10/16/2010 - a set on Flickr |

| What a cutie! She looks fantastic. And honestly, I'd rather have a pup with a not-so-even haircut, than have them force her to withstand whatever they're doing. That's why I love my groomer as well! They're gentle and good with dogs.

| Sooooo cute! Hello everyone! Have been Reading the post for a few days now. Love it and so many wise parents out there! I am a wife and mother of 5 children, a 17 month old Weimaraner, and our 10.5 week old yorkie! I think our baby girl will be on the bigger side. Mom and dad are around 4 lbs., but Sadie is 2.75 now! Don't really care, with all the little ones around she needs a little size to her. Her personality is awesome. She loves to play, but also loves to cuddle. We live in the country and spend lots of time outside. My question to you all....... How early should I have her groomed? Her hair is growing super fast and I have only had her 9 days! I have no idea what cut to ask for. Long hair would never survive in our household as she is our baby and will not attend any shows! But I still want to her to remain feminine! Hope you don't mind me posting this on your thread. I have not learned to navigate my way around yet!! |

| What a sweet little girl you have! I loved your commentary on flicker - it made me smile. When Fizz had her hair groomed for the first time they also only partially finished her head. They wanted it to be a good experience and now she loves her groomer!

| Tallulah looks so cute in her new "do". I'm so glad you and she had a good experience at the groomer's.

| She's a real cutie. Toby has been going to the groomer for ten months now and he still gets fidgety when the groomer works on his face. He's fine with the rest of his body but he hates anyone around his face.
