| Kayla Looking Cute In Her New Hairstyle As some of you know Kayla was having some skin problems and was licking, biting and scratching her backend and causing hair breakage. It got to the point where the only hair left was on her head and a strip down the middle of her back and some over her shoulders. A couple of weeks ago in a moment of madness I decided to cut the remaining hair to match the lenght of the broken areas. So I cut her whole body down to 1"! I immediately regreted it. Now she's been bathed a few times I think she looks okay and then I decided to put her in a topknot and she suddenly looked better.... still not great and I hope her coat grows back soon but at least I can look at her now and no cringe at my mistake.

| Well I am sure that cutting her down was the best thing at that point and she really looks fine. I bet the new hair will come in nice and she will be hairy again!

| I'm hoping so. It's pretty silver now, so we missed out her having a long puppy coloured coat.

| I think she looks beautiful!! I know we love the long hair but she may feel much better with the puppy cut. With the summer months coming up, it will be much cooler too. The first picture is too funny, she has her foot up as if to say "No pictures please." We must have had a communication problem with the mobile groomer and he shaved my Chelsey. When she came in the house, she would not move out of the chair. I think she acted as if she was naked and embarrassed. I put a shirt on her until some of the hair grew out in a few weeks. It is just like our hair, it always grows back.

| Kayla looks adorable with her new cut. Really she does. I am glad the tree tea shampoo is helping her. It's heartbreaking to watch them scratch and be so uncomfortable. I had a terrier who had skin issues. I spent so much $ trying to help him. Even a holistic doctor couldn't help. I hope Kayla continues to improve. |

| aww, she still looks gorgeous no matter what . . .Annika does the same thing, and I cannot fathom what is causing it . .my vet told me to try and do a process of elimination so I held off something every 6 weeks to find out her allergies . .I have taken out chicken in her diet . .no change. . have now taken out the cottage cheese and it does not seem like it is working . . .once the 6 weeks is up I will tackle the grooming products next. Hope you can resolve Kayla's problem . . . |
