Heartbroken

Tameka was my yorkie of 10 yrs. She was my best friend, went everywhere with me. She never spent a night away from her home.....now she is gone. I miss her so much and pray she is happy. Tameka passed in August after a short illness. I tried everything in my power to get her back to my healthy little girl.The vet couldn't find out what was causing her to vomit and eventually she wouldn't eat anything. Not knowing why is hard! I miss her..... tears are falling as I write this, as it hasn't gotten any easier. I cry in private because my family would rather not talk about her. They quickly change the subject......heartbroken and wishing for my baby.

Oh so sorry. But understand that everyone grieves differently, and don't let anyone keep you from grieving. When I lost my previous Yorkie no one understood how devastated I was and it was hard to find someone to talk to about it - you have YT and know that we care and how you are feeling!
Grief is normal and a process, so don't be afraid to grieve.

I'm so sorry for your loss of your dearest Tameka. It's sad when you can't turn to family and close friends for support. Not so intentional, but they just don't understand the depth of the bond that these little ones can have with their humans... I feel sorry for those who don't know the love of a Yorkie, they are missing out on so much. After my first Yorkie passed on, I vowed to never spend another day without one in my life, but not after spending two sad, miserable years alone.

I will pray for you, that you will soon find a way through the pain of your loss and become able to share your love with another Yorkie once again. Hugs,

I am so sorry for the loss of your Tameka. My family never understood how I felt when I lost some of my pets. I never let them come in between me and my pets. I am fortunate my husband stands by me and feels the same way like me. Just remember in your heart your baby will always be there and she knew you loved her very much, Treasure those lovely memories and take a day at a time over your loss. Each day will get better in time but you will always shed a tear. It is ok to grieve and as I said only in time you will get through this tough process. Take care of sending a hug your way. Susan

I have a new little girl, named Teeka. She has woven her way into my heart, but I still miss Tameka. I guess your first love is always there, forever in your heart! I got Teeka to help fill the void and she does keep me busy with her antics and the snuggles and kisses. Just missing her alot lately.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Tameka. I lost my heart dog almost 5 years ago now...still feels like yesterday. You're right..you never get over your first love. But, you sure can share your love with another. I'm so happy that you've got Teeka.
