My Prissie My Prissie miscarried yesterday afternoon. We are not sure if she miscarried all babies or just one or two. We are going for a ultrasound next Thursday to see if she still has some babies. We don't know what caused her to miscarry, she has had a normal pregnancy till now, her due date is Nov. 2nd. She is 5 years old and in perfect health. This would've been her fourth and last litter, we were planning on having her spayed after this litter, that hasn't changed. She is at work with me today so that I can keep an eye on her, I normally take off when she is near delivery so that I can be at home with her. I can't imagine what she was going through yesterday when this happened, I'm so upset about that. She had a rough night last night, she just couldn't get comfortable, I think she was looking for her babies. She seems to be doing fine today, but please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I pray that everything is alright with her, that is my main concern, she is our precious girl and we just want to make sure she is okay. Here are a couple of pictures of her at work with me today.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Even though she is in great health, sometimes the body just doesn't have the strength to go thru another pregnancy. I do hope she is ok. Keep us posted.

Thank you Thank you all for your warm wishes and prayers. Prissie seems to being good, she is a little needy and is whining a little more than usual, I'm just giving her extra loving right now. I will post an update once we have the ultrasound on Thursday.

| She took her to the small animal clinic at Texas A&M as soon as she got home from work and discovered Prissie misscarried. They did an x-ray and the vet thought there could still be a puppy so that's why she is going on Thursday to get an ultrasound.

I am sorry. I never thought about dogs having miscarriages. Maybe it is like in humans. Sometimes something is not right with the fetus and it is aborted. Hope she is feeling better...bless her hear, she probably does not understand.
