| That's okay, after reading my first post I realized that I didn't mention I had taken her to the clinic as soon as I got home. I was frantic, I tried calling my vet but as it was already 6pm, he wasn't open and I couldn't get ahold of him at his home number. I called the small animal clinic and they told me to bring her in right away. They did a radiograph and said that they thought they could see the skull and spinal cord of another puppy but the image was very faint, they couldn't do an ultrasound then because they didn't have a radiologist on duty. Although they did run complete blood tests, all results were normal except her white blood cells were a little elevated, so they sent us home with an antibiotic, that won't hurt her babies, to administer for 5 days and told us to schedule an appt. for the ultrasound next Thursday. Thanks for everyone's concerns, thoughts and prayers. I'll keep y'all posted. |

| No it wasn't on this thread - she had sent me a PM earlier so that's how I knew. I hope Prissie is feeling better today

| We just got back from the vet...they did the ultrasound, there are no puppies, she miscarried all of them. She is still battling an infection she developed in her uterus, she has been on Clavamox since last Thursday. We go back on Tuesday, if her vaginal discharge hasn't stopped by then, we will have her spayed to get rid of the infection. We were planning on having her spayed after this litter anyway. Besides the vaginal discharge, she's sleeping a lot and doesn't seem too interested in food. She won't touch the raw food or dry kibble my other babies eat. I had to buy her some can food, she eats a little of that and then will try to start burying it, when she starts that I take the plate away from her and then when I give it back she eats the rest of it. However when she comes back in from going potty she is really excited about treat time, other than that she is sleeping. We literally have to wake her up to feed her and sometimes to take her potty. She has always been a sleeper, total lap dog, but now it's just more than usual. Here are a few more pics of her at work with me today. |

| I'm so sorry to hear this happened to both of you. I think she may be a little depressed that's why she's slepping even more now. My aunt's yorkie miscarried and she was depressed and whimpering for her babies. She'll get over it it just takes a lil time, just like people. They feel too. Hopefully she feels better soon |

| I am so sorry. This is so sad. I hope that she gets back to normal soon. She is just a little doll sleeping in your bag. I wish mine was that calm, but then again I love her just the way that she is.

| I'm sorry, I just read this about Prissie and the loss of her babies. I will be sure to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. How is she doing now? I'm sure her spirits will pick up once she gets to feeling better. Sounds like she is definitely in Mothering Mode, bless her sweet little heart, she doesn't understand...Again, I am so very sorry for your loss and hers.
