| Bad mommy moment I was making dinner and cutting a baked potato with a butter knife. Well it slipped out of my hand and fell on top of Alexis. The handle hit her on her head. She was skittish to begin with, now she won't come anywhere near me. When I go to pick her up, she tucks her tail under and curls up in a ball. I swear she thinks I meant to do it.

| My goodness! I know that has to make you feel so bad! Don't you wish they could understand our words so we could explain? Poor baby and poor you. I have accidentally stepped on Sassy's toes enough that I swear she has learned what "Oh baby, I'm so sorry" means. |

| I am glad to know that they come around. I hope that it doesn't take a week though! My other yorkie Nomi is loving this. She has been in my lap since it happened. Talk about taking advantage of an opportunity ...

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | aww I know the feeling....but thank your lucky stars it was the handle... Sometimes Georgia is very timid around me too just because I brush her or try to wipe her and then she just runs away. I heard Shih Tzu's are very cuddly...and Yorkies have big tough dog personalities. |

| Aw, she'll come around. Vinnie was like that with his daddy at first because he stepped on him a few times. Daddy was used to big dogs, but they got used to each other and now they are best buddies!!!

| My hubby had an accident with Brody. Hubby is about 6'1 and was holding Brody about chest height. Brody was squirmin' around like no tomorrow. He either jumped or fell out of the hubby's arms. This was the beginning of Aug. We've noticed that Brody seems to finally have gotten over his fear of the hubby in the last week or so. Not saying it will take that long for y'all by any means! Just if it seems to take a bit, don't give up. Our wee ones do forgive us.

| I know just how you feel, I did something much worse. The thing is, it was an ACCIDENT. Things happen, and you are not a bad mommy. I never mentioned this incident because it made me feel the same way, but here goes I was getting a knife out of my wooden block and I knocked the WHOLE thing down on top of Luna (my smaller girl) It was full of SHARP knives, and I thought for sure that I'd killed her She only let out one little yelp when it happened, I think out of fright more than anything. She was perfectly fine, I snatched her up SO fast and inspected her from nose to tail. I was SO scared that one of the knives had cut her, or that the heavy block might have broken something NOT a scratch, thank God, and she was fine. Whew, I feel better telling y'all that now My husband doesn't even know, he'd have been so upset, and since she was fine, I decided not to say anything. Luna is HIS baby Don't feel bad!

Reading all of the "opps" stories do make me feel better. I guess we all have those accidents at times. Alexis is still very cautious of me today. I know she'll come around soon though. Thanks for the pep up stories.
