| AFRAID of Pictures....... HELP!!!!! Hi all!! I love to see all of your beautiful pictures. Some of your babies even pose for you guys. WHAT DO YOU DO??? DO YOU BRIBE THEM?? Tell me the secret. I have been trying for almost 1 year to take pictures of Meeko and Molly!! They see me with the camera and run the other way. It seems I only get to take pictures of their butt. I don't think those would be proper for my avater, do you??? HELP!!! Can anyone give me ideas on how to train my puppies to take pictures?? Thanks!!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | lol...Mine HATE the flash - lots of times I turn it off....that's also why I do so many outside shots - If you can set up a room with LOTS of light - put your baby on a chair or couch that their not used to and tell them to sit...line up your shot - keeping your hand on them - then still saying Sit...take your hand away and get a pic - it may take some time - but I really found out the flash is the main reason mine don't like pictures - Or you can take action shots outside - you're bound to get a good one - take LOTS of shots - an average number of pics for me at one time is about 30-40 then I delete the bad ones...or save them depending... |

| Do not be scared! Surely there is a remedy for this! Of course, I am a photographer and Sully has seen so much of my camera that he doesn't think a thing about it....but, here are my tips of how I get Sully to pose for the camera. Do your dogs know how to "sit" and "stay"? Ta-da! You have it! If not, sit and stay aren't hard commands to learn. I tell Sully to "stay" and then, with one of his toys in hand, I shake it and/or make weird squeaking noises to spark his attention and get him to look my way. And it works like a charm nearly every time!

| It's called a Digital camera...the greatest invention ever! lmao. Also, make a really ODD noise and they give you that "tilt the head sideways tounge out" shot.

| I hold a treat over my head so that Lucy will look at the camera, I have managed to get loads of good pics of her doing that! Also I agree with Mydogkelsey, a digicam is a must!!! Good Luck! |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I will be the first to say that we defintely bribe our girls...when the camera comes out so do the treats, so our girls tend to like taking pictures...but it will still usually take several shots before any good ones come out, but they do get lots of treats!!! But it is worth it to get some really cute shots...

| Just keep taking pictures, well digital ones at least. The more you take, the better chance you'll get a good one. Ya never know what you'll find until you look at it on the computer. Sometimes you catch them smiling, sometimes a lick, sometimes full tongue sticking out. |
