| Constipation HELP My puppy is 12 weeks old. She is constipated-kind of bad. I think she's been getting into Baxter's adult dog food. What can you do for constipation?

| It will work itself out in probably a day. I have read you can give them pumpkin like that pumpkin pie filling stuff and that works.

| Surely bacon grease can't be good for a dogs stomach. It seems like it would make them get sick.

| easy way of helping your little one giving a warm water enema... your local pharmacy has small syringe *(without the needle) fill it up with warm water and shoot it directly in his little hiney it should create a bowel movement within a few minutes if not about an hour later try again its safe and effective. If the second one doesnt work then make an appointment with your vet may be something else wrong...

| Cordelia went through this when I first brought her home. The pumpkin works if you can get them to eat it, but Cordelia wouldn't eat it. The vet said that I could use petromalt which is for cats hairballs. It acts as a laxative. Also make sure the hiney area is clean. Cordelia was getting poo stuck in her coat and it would block the poo from coming out.
