| New puppy meetin older dog I'm getting a puppy on the 17th of this month. I'm so excited! I currently have another yorkie but he is 10 yrs old. Any suggestion on introducing them? I already take her bed I bought her when I go see the puppy and bring it home for Cardi to smell but any other suggestions? |

| Congrats! Old dogs generally have little tolerance for puppies, so give each lots of space and lots of attention. Find games you can play with the two of them. Have fun!

| I've read you should introduce them on neutral territory. I didn't do that I brought Bella home to my 4 year old lab and she was going nuts. Bridget is a happy hyper crazy dog. Bella went completely submissive and let Bridget sniff her out. 2 months later, they're getting along better. Bridget is still pretty jealous of her but they play together well and Bridget is tolerating her much better.
