I've read you should introduce them on neutral territory.

I didn't do that I brought Bella home to my 4 year old lab and she was going nuts. Bridget is a happy hyper crazy dog. Bella went completely submissive and let Bridget sniff her out.

2 months later, they're getting along better. Bridget is still pretty jealous of her but they play together well and Bridget is tolerating her much better.
