| New Mommie to my fur baby Mercedes Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know that I went to pick up my baby over the weekend, I am so happy and she is so cute, my boys and husband loves her so much. She is sweet. I am trying to get use to having her. I just need some advice since I am a new puppy owner. I am crate training, but she wines a little bit and I dont want to keep going to get her that might make things worst. Please help this new mommie. Welcome Mercedes. I will be posting pics very soon. |

| When you put her in there at night don't get her out when she whines. How old is she? Now my baby when I first got her at 12 weeks, I would take her out once or twice in the middle of the night to do her business. Now I don't take her at all (she is 4 months). She whined for the first couple of days in her crate at night. I had to put her in the guest bathroom and shut the door so she wouldn't keep me awake. But now she will go to bed on her own at night or in the day if I ask her to. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby

| She is 8 weeks old and my set-up is I have her in the guest bathroom with her crate but I leave the door open so that she can get out and use the puppy pads. I want to train her on the leash, but I think she is too small. I want to do the right thing by her and not spoiled too much. The bathroom is a nice size to house her the crate and put her food in there also |

| I've gotten a yorkie at 8 weeks,12 weeks and a 10 week old. The 8 week old was the most difficult from my experience. Just because a lot of pups are too young and still need their mom at 8 weeks. She cried the most. It was like having a newborn baby. She cried. I tried comforting her and leaving her alone. Finally I left her alone in the crate, open door with pee pad out.Don't feel bad. Make sure she has her food/water maybe a toy, blanky. By 10-11 weeks she was completely quiet at night and slept until we woke up. Genie Cookie Lola Angel |
