Baby food guys i have been feeding Rocky Gerber food, Checken with gravy mix. Its for kids. Breeder said its good for them. I have also been giving him some Chicken Soup baby formula, but he likes the Baby food more. Also, he puked a little today after he at it. Could it be due to him running around like a monkey after he ate the food?

| I gave Jewels baby food when she was a young pup. Sometimes mine throw up once and there is really no explanation for it. If it is only once he just probably had a little stomach upset

Baby food is not recommended for dogs and especially for puppies as they don't meet the required nutrition needs .

There was a thread on here just the other day. It stated DO NOT GIVE YOUR YORKIE BABY FOOD> It has garlic and onion powder in it. Both can be harmful to your puppy.

I doubt very seriously there is anything in baby food that will harm a puppy in any way. If the concern is in the garlic, then read labels and get ones without it. Even if it had garlic powder, it wouldn't be enough to hurt anything. I've fed more puppies and ailing senior dogs more dog food than I ever fed my own kids I think and it didn't hurt them at all. In fact they flourished to the point of being able to go back on to adult food.
