I doubt very seriously there is anything in baby food that will harm a puppy in any way. If the concern is in the garlic, then read labels and get ones without it. Even if it had garlic powder, it wouldn't be enough to hurt anything. I've fed more puppies and ailing senior dogs more dog food than I ever fed my own kids I think and it didn't hurt them at all. In fact they flourished to the point of being able to go back on to adult food.
