| New at this... can you help? I just recently got out of a long term relationship and will be moving in to my first apartment alone in two months. I really want a yorkie for companionship. The problem is, the apartment doesn't allow pets (although employees admit to knowing people still manage to have them). How loud are yorkies? Would it be obvious that I have one in my apartment to outsiders? |

| puppy Don't even consider it..rarely will a dog of any breed not bark from time to time...even if you get one, you can never take it out for walks or enjoy owning it..you are always afraid someone will find out and then you will have an expensive move. |

| I would try to find a different place to live. It would be a bummer to have a puppy and not let him/her go explore the world. Good luck!

| I was in your same situation when I got Mr. Biggs. The apartments I lived in didn't allow pets. I got away with it for a couple months though, because he didn't bark, but once he got his voice, I started looking for a new place. In a way it sucked, because I couldn't really take him outside for regular potty training, and had to teach him to use the pee pads. And every time I wanted to take him someplace, I always had to hide him in is carrying bag. If I could do it all over, I definitely would have found a pet friendly place before getting him. Good luck though in whatever you decide! You've already made the right choice in choosing a yorkie! And welcome to YT!

| A puppy or any pet for that matter is a huge commitment. I second that you find another place to live if you want to add a baby to your life. |

| to YT! I have to agree with everyone here. I wouldn't chance it because they WILL bark from time to time. You really can't enjoy your puppy that way. Good luck!
