| We will not be getting Lexie After some recent events, and finding out a few truths, we have decided that we are not going to try to get Lexie. Ernie and I have some theories on what might be going on, but I do not feel it would be appropriate for me to post them here.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I just got caught up on the Lexie Saga and thought you would be the PERFECT HOME for her. I don't get it. I thought she NEEDED a good home for Lexie cause she got too big ? She still has her for sale right ? YOU were the one who stepped up and offered to give her a home where she would be loved & I thought it was a done deal ? I better stop - I don't know what's going on but know how excited you've been for a few weeks now ....I'm sorry Willow - and Poor Lexie - I do hope she ends up in a great home one day. I agree with Pepe mint - this sounds like you were just taken on a roller coaster ride and that just isn't right - but KUDOS for you stepping up for her Alycia. You tried and did your best. |

| Please don't give me Kudos because after this experience, I am never going to trust anyone who has a pet yorkie looking to be rehomed. NEVER.

I don't blame you for how you feel but, don't let it make you lose your trust. There ARE honest people out there who have the best interest of the dogs in mind..... | |

| Keep looking at dogs for sale or homes neede. I got one for free, and I got the other for $150.00, and I couldn't have been happier with then. Also, check petfinder and check your local newspapers for ads. I'm sorry you didn't get her, but some things were just not meant to be. |

| I also want to add, I know good reputable breeders check vet references on people who want a puppy, but I suggest any buyers/people looking to adopt or rehome from individuals also check out the current breeder/owners vet references....Talking to the persons vet gives you a LOAD of information on the type of environment the dog/puppy is coming from. And if they say they have a vet appoitment with a certain vet at 4pm because the dog is so seriously ill that she isn't eating or drinking and then she doesn't show up for that appointment RUN LIKE THE WIND!! and don't look back.

No Longer a Member | I'm so sorry to hear this. It looked like Lexie was going to go to a wonderful home. I'm sorry that someone might have been trying to take advantage of you. Is Lexie terminally ill? Poor thing. This is just sad all around |
