| Bringing Up Bile Hi All So glad that I found you...My Yorkie is 6 yrs old and he brings up bile, it looks like a beaten egg. Yellow and thick. My vet has put him on Medi Cal Hypoallergenic Formula for sensitive stomachs however this does not solve the problem and he has been on if for about 1 yr. I must admit he does get a little taste of people food, however I have started Yorkie Bootcamp, I feed him 1/3 cup 3 times a day, and on occasion give him Hills Prescription diet t/d small bites as a treat and that's it!! It's really hard because he goes with me all the time and when we visit he sometimes gets sick. I don't know what to do...he should be 7 lbs he now weighs 13, however that is yet another problem that I will post separately. Thanks for your help Pocket's Mom |

| Hello My yorkies do the same thing. My veterinarian (who also owns yorkies) said that it's very common in yorkies & small breeds & has me feed my babies 1/2 piece of bread a day... to soak up the extra stomach bile. It totally works too... they never throw up anymore, except when I forget their bread. (I know... it sounds weird, but it works)

| I have the same problem with Prince if he eats the wrong food or treats. After blood tests and trying different food, the vet put him on Royal Canin Hypoallergenic HP. Since we switched food, the only time he throws up is when he sneaks into the cat food or we try a new treat that doesn't agree with his tummy. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Several of my Yorkies had/have this. Cali gets it when she goes more than 10 hours with no food, so she is fed 3 times a day. My other one would get it when he was stressed, he had a very finicky stomach. There really wasn't anything to do but make sure they ate often.

| Misha did this also. My Vet said to make sure she eats a little something every 4 to 5 hours. After awakening in the morning she would vomit. I would give her something she really liked to eat in the morning so her tummy wouldn't be empty. Cooked carrots worked for me. |
