| Post your Yorkie in the Snow Pictures Here! I live in Southern California and so we don't get any snow unless we drive up to the local mountains. Needless to say, Jazzie has never seen, smelled or stepped in snow. I've seen so many Yorkies in snow pictures but would love to see them all in one thread so I can so Jazzie what she's missing! Looking forward to your photos!

| If the snow is dry and powdery, it doesn't ball up in the coat so much. When it first fell I had no idea it was so wet and it took a while to get it off everyone. The best way is to put warm water in the sink, stand them in it, the snow melts off, the dry them. After our snow fall, winds whipped up and temp dropped drying the snow. There were 2 -3 foot drifts in my backyard including the xpenned area I had around my cement pad out my family room door for them to go out and potty. There is a roof over the pad but the wind blew the snow in . This is what it looked like |

| Funny Story When I let them out to the cement area in the morning not realizing it had drifted as in the previous post, I suddenly heard a racket and a couple of them ran up the drift over the xpen and landed in the drifts in the yard. I had to step over the xpen in my slippers and fish them out of the drifts put them back into the cement pad area. They beelined it into the family room in front of the gas fireplace which was on and throwing good heat. LOL |

| This was the first time Sonia has been out in the snow and she hated it. She got to the point where her little paws were so cold she just couldnt move and stood there on one front and one back paw. I had to rescue her. There hasnt been any snow for awhile though.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Wow! Where have all you snow Yorkies been? Great thread idea. Lorraine, I will never complain about Eddie's snow burrs again! I think that one sets some kind of record! I've pretty much solved Eddie's problem with a long-legged coat and booties. He hates the booties, but they work.
