If the snow is dry and powdery, it doesn't ball up in the coat so much. When it first fell I had no idea it was so wet and it took a while to get it off everyone. The best way is to put warm water in the sink, stand them in it, the snow melts off, the dry them.
After our snow fall, winds whipped up and temp dropped drying the snow. There were 2 -3 foot drifts in my backyard including the xpenned area I had around my cement pad out my family room door for them to go out and potty. There is a roof over the pad but the wind blew the snow in . This is what it looked like
