| Fencing My hubby and I are finally moved into our new house!! YAY!! We still have a lot of boxes to unpack, but we're getting there. I have some fence companies coming out tomorrow to give me an estimate on our back yard. With our hoa we're not allowed to have chainlink. What kind of fencing do you have and how tall is it? I don't want my babies jumping over!! |

| We put in a six foot high wood privacy fence with locks on the gates. We made sure all the boards along the bottom were secure as the installers worked the fence. We have had no problems with our furbabies getting out, just some trouble keeping the squirrels and racoons out of the yard. We have to be careful when the pups go out (they think they are 100 lb great danes). .....

| I have eight foot wood fencing on one side of yard as the neighbors had a privacy fence up that hight and the other 3 sides are 4 ft. which I like because I can see out and yet the dogs don't leave the yard, we go around the yard and check every so often to make sure there are no places under fence that they could get out or that anything else can get in. We are lucky our little ones are not diggers.

| We have PVC fencing in the front of our house and that is only 3" tall. We have horse fencing (we live out in the country) and it is only 4' tall and Millie does not get out of either one. We did have to put meshing around the PVC fencing because the slats on the fencing are a little far apart and I was afraid that Millie would be able to walk thru them. She would have been able to has a puppy. She probably still could and she is 6 lbs. But she never has tried real hard to get out of any place. We made sure that the fencing was low to the ground and secure, so she could not find any holes to get under the fence and leave. |
