| Pure Joy!!!! Everybody is asleep here and it's 11:30 almost. I fully intentded to post new pics today of my puppies cause they are five weeks old now, and eating from a dish I might add , but things were busy and we had a huge buffet lunch that wiped us out for the day But all is said and done for the day, and here I am, reflecting, thinking of my puppies with the most heartfelt love. Feedings are so much easier now that we don't have to fill those syringes and after they eat from their dishes they/we play. Me and my husband sit with them after they eat and just watch them. It's amazing!! It is the absolute sweetest thing I've ever seen!!! They hop like bunnies when they are playing and you can actually see how everything is brand new for them!!! They can run fast!!! They love to play and tug at mommy and daddy! Not us, Bentley and Bitsy. They are the best puppies in the whole world!!! They let us sleep til almost nine this morning. They each have thier own little personalitites and I swear I cannot pick which one is best!!! And each one is priceless and special and unique in thier own way! Little Chloe' is the one we are keeping, and honestly, we do dote on her a little bit more, but NOT much, like you would think!! I just want them ALL to feel so loved and wanted! They are so responsive to our love and kisses and our voice! They are really happy puppies! I am SOOOOO thankful that they all have lived!! Sometimes when I look at them I could just cry! And sometimes they are SO funny! I bought them each a binky today (a pacifier). I wanted to take pics but I couldn't pull myself away to go get the camera. They love them! Even Bentely is so protective over them! It is SO heartwarming to see my little yorkie family, Bentley Bitsy and thier babies!!! AND the puppy breath and kisses, OMG!!! If I could only bottle that and sell it!!! It is to die for!!! After they play for about thirty minutes, they are ready to zonk out. And they will either cuddle up beside your leg or fall asleep in your hands. Can you feel the love??? I sure do wish you all could be here to experience what I am seeing and feeling because I KNOW you ALL would appreciate it. I promiise I am not bragging and am not encouraging anyone to have puppies and you know mine were an accident, but the blessings they have been are indescribable!!!!! And it even gets better day after day!! Even hubby is getting attached . So sorry to ramble on!! This is one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life!!! It is SO rewarding! I love them so much!!! EVERY ONE of them!!! They are such good puppies!!! They have adapted SO well to our routine! I cannot imiagine me without any one of them I guess I'll go to bed now....after I check on my babies. No need to respond. I'm just feeling sentimental and wanted to share. Sorry it's so long!!!! Thank you ALL for letting me share I'm pooped.....going nitey night. night night wexy

| Ahhhhhhhhhh...loved your post! You described it all so well, it was as if I was there watching those little darlings of yours! I'm so happy for you and that the puppies all turned out healthy, and that Bitsy is okay! I don't know how you'll ever be able to part with any of them! Your post made me smile...all the way through! Happy Mother's Day to you and Bitsy! |

| Sometimes i just skim but I read every word of your post! It was so beautiful ad heartfelt. I wish I could experience what you have. It has been fun living vicariously through as they were born and then Bitsy getting ecmapsia and having to bottle and syringe feed them and so many oMG! Anyway, will it be hard to let them go do you think. That would be my problem if I ever had a litter of puppies. I would want them to all go to family and friends only so they would still be "family". |

Thank you everyone for your kind words! It is SO going to be hard to part with any of these little babies! It's even hard to find family or friends that will treat them like I do I think most would agree that us yorkietalk people are not your average pet owners

| I know what you are saying and it comes from the heart!! I feel that way with each and every litter or puppy that I am lucky enough to live with for a while. When I think how you and I and others who breed love, protect and care for and about our babies, I could go and pinch the heads off those millers and their mean spiritedness. Dear Lord, please forgive me for hating someone or something so much. When the time comes to place your babies, I hope that you can step back a little, and as you interview perspective mommies and/or daddies, find the home that is actually a little better than yours. Hold on, now! Let me 'splain. A better home might be one where the pup will be the only child. Or one where there has been a recent death of family member-either 2 or 4 legged. Your baby will help them heal and that will be a better home. Or with a disabled family member. Over the years, my puppies have had the chance to fulfill those needs. I have developed a set of questions that I use over the phone before I set up the initial interview. I know when the person comes what I think of them and the interview is to solidify my judgement. BUT, each of your babies is meant to bring joy to someone and as hard as it is, breeders have to let that happen.. Bless you and your babies for being such a special part of this forum. Happy Mothers Day!!! |

whispersmom, what you said in your post made a lot of sense and I totally agree with it! I'd love for them to go to homes where they are not only wanted but needed too. I sent you a PM, hope that's ok.

| What a sweet post. I felt so happy and relaxed reading it. Thank God everything has turned out so well with these pups. And I know exactly what you are saying about puppy breath. It's great!!! I have to add, it will be a tragedy when they go to new homes as you are an exceptional, loving mom to them. It's even gonna make me cry when it happens.
