I live in an area where it isn't possible for me to pick it up personally and i can only buy it online. I really appreciate your help...thanks!!!

| Have you checked www.petfooddirect.com Their prices for the puppy food are great and they are suppose to have good prices for shipping too. They have a few examples of shipping prices too. They don't have an example of Louisiana, but for a 20 lb bag, it would cost $8.49 to have it shipped to Alabama and $10.49 to have it shipped to Texas. I hope this helps.

| That is where I ordered before I found a place to buy it locally. Of course, now I'm looking for another place because I had to buy a huge bag & a 3# Yorkie doesn't need a huge bag. I hear about it getting stale, how long does it take to get stale? |

| Wow, that is expensive. What city do you live in?? I can check on how much it would cost to ship a bag to you. If the price isn't too bad, I can buy a bag and ship it to you if the shipping price is good for you.

| Shipping costs Most shipping companies charge by weight and the large bags of dog food are pretty heavy. In addition, depending on the size or shape of something they also add surcharges for that. Makes it hard for us folks that dont live in the big cities to get things sometimes but can't blame the retailers for passing on at least some of those costs. Everything is soooooooo expensive these days and they do have to try to cover their overhead. There are some that price the merchandise lower so you will think its a good deal and then gouge on the shipping charges to make up for it. This isnt right either but it happens. I dont mind paying a fair amount for shipping but apparently "fair" is a relative term. |

| If you live out in the boonies, I'm sure there has to be a feed and seed store somewhere near you. Most feed & seed stores carry Chicken Soup. Have you checked into that?! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Maybe if you ask real nice they an get some in for you. I know our Pet food depot out here will carry just the types of Merricks that we use an another lady uses in the area. They just know not to get a ton in for our little pups. Good luck!
