| Pumpkin Picking Today Rocky, me, my sister, and boyfriends sisters and nephew went to a pumpkin place to get pumpkins. Well I guess dogs weren't allowed, so a worker came up and told me he's not allowed, and I said "I"m sorry I didn't know" and she told me to leave him in the car I told her "I wouldn't do that, we'll leave". So we go to the parking lot and my boyfriends older sister suggested taking turns babysitting Rocky in the parking lot (we still wanted to stay for her son because they had a petting zoo, pony rides, the works for little kids). Then the lady follows us to the parking lot and says "He can't be on the premises because there are little kids" Little kids!?!?!?1 I'm holding my dog in my purse! And can't farm animals be hazardous to kids?? If they don't want dogs there that's fine, but don't say it's because of the little kids when that's a hypocritical bs excuse! So as she's saying this, another lady comes up to us and says "Oh can I pet your yorkie he's soo cute!" I looked at the worker and started laughing, and let the lady pet him. Then right before I walked away, I turned back around and said my thoughts on her encouraging animal cruelty of leaving him in the car. I didn't swear, didn't yell, just told her that that is animal cruelty...and guess what happened next....She threatened to call the police!!! ON ME! I started laughing, and said "for what?" Then she hurried back inside the gates to go call. Needless to say, we found our pumpkins somewhere else, where Rocky was welcomed and loved by the owners! I'm just glad we didn't spend any money at the first place! Here's Rocky in the pumpkins!

| Sorry that you couldn't take your dog with you. But I have a feeling that more and more places are going to start telling people they can't take in their dogs. No bc the dog that person has is dirt or bc it might nip at kids, but bc some one elses dog might. For example, If you take your Yorkie to this place and so one sees you with your dog they might think that tomorrow they'll come back with their dog bc dogs are oviously allowed. Well let's say this person has a German shepard (or Rotti or pit bull or just a grumpy old dog) well the owners would have to let them in bc you had your dog there the day before. same goes for alot of places. I've heard of people taking their Yorkies to the grocery store. Well this is all great and everything bc Yorkies are small and don't shed, but the majority of dogs do shed and there are tons of people who would be turned off going into a grocery store with dog hair floating around. So I wouldn't be surprised if more and more places start telling people to leave their dogs at home.

| He's a yorkie! Last week while in traveling in Arizona we found that we had to get something in a Walmart. It was 102 degrees so I would not consider leaving our little guy in the car. I walked right on in with him in a shoulder bag. Purchased the items I need and proceeded to leave. As we were walking out the "greeter" saw Caesar with his head sticking out the bag. He smiled and asked how we got him in since dogs are not allowed in Walmart. I smiled and replied "He's not a dog, he's a yorkie!" The man had no response. Perhaps some kind of rule could be made allowing dogs under 10 lbs. and their feet never touching the ground. |

| OH MY! SINCE YORKIES ARE SOOOO MEAN AND THREATENING! For heaven's sake. My friends and I were just talking tonight about the days when you could straddle the neighbor's fence, play in their yard, walk the streets with no fear. What has this world come to? I'm sorry you had to face this inane behavior. IMHO, lawyers, insurance companies and banks now run this country. It's a shame. |

as for not allowing dogs, there is hardly anywhere in my area that you can take them, its very frustrating , when i have a family outing i mean a family outing that includes my Puddings, and as time goes on we are more and more restricted as to where we can take them .....

| Nice pics! Who picked the pumpkins, Rocky or you, lol? I take my baby boy wherever I go, including Walmart. Here in FL, I do not know if they allow dogs but I have been there with him, some employees have seen him and I have not been instructed to leave the premises.

I totally agree, that if one dog should be allowed, then all dogs should. If my boxer wasn't vicious I would take him everywhere with me too (that dogs are allowed). My complaint is that there reasoning for not allowing dogs is hypocritical. She said they were worried about the children. The animals that they had there can also cause harm to the children. If she said it was because of people letting there dog poop whereever and not cleaning it, or that the other animals didn't like the dogs, then I would understand.

| Don't you just hate it! It is pitiful to put up with this problem. I told my bf that I can't wait to go to Paris so I can take my yt all over the place. They go in food shops (oh my!) , restaurants, trains and buses. I think I want to move there. |

Oooh, now Paris will be on my list of vacations! LOL. I'm not bothered by the fact that he wasn't allowed, I just found there reasoning very hypocritical. What bothered me more was her suggesting that I leave him in the car! It was hot outside, I highly doubt Rocky wouldv'e been happy with me if I did that to him.
