For example, If you take your Yorkie to this place and so one sees you with your dog they might think that tomorrow they'll come back with their dog bc dogs are oviously allowed. Well let's say this person has a German shepard (or Rotti or pit bull or just a grumpy old dog) well the owners would have to let them in bc you had your dog there the day before.
same goes for alot of places. I've heard of people taking their Yorkies to the grocery store. Well this is all great and everything bc Yorkies are small and don't shed, but the majority of dogs do shed and there are tons of people who would be turned off going into a grocery store with dog hair floating around.
So I wouldn't be surprised if more and more places start telling people to leave their dogs at home. |
I totally agree, that if one dog should be allowed, then all dogs should. If my boxer wasn't vicious I would take him everywhere with me too (that dogs are allowed). My complaint is that there reasoning for not allowing dogs is hypocritical. She said they were worried about the children. The animals that they had there can also cause harm to the children. If she said it was because of people letting there dog poop whereever and not cleaning it, or that the other animals didn't like the dogs, then I would understand.
