| Well, I have a boy AND a girl. Louie the boy is very mellow and laid back. Very, very sweet...not a fresh bone in his body....he is truely a momma's boy. lol He is fixed and he still has a bad habit of "marking" in my house though. Bella the girl is a little spitfire. She has so much energy and loves, loves, loves to play. she is very mischeivious and gets into everything, she is a lot of fun though and I would not have it any other way. They are both in their own ways the sweetest little things and I love them both just the way they are, and I think that you will feel the same way with whatever sex you get....male or female. Good luck and keep us posted.

| I have always had boys. My breeder said the boys tend to be more loving. She also said that she has girls who mark and I've actually seen that. My boy does not mark, is VERY energetic but loves to cuddle. suz |

| My Tiny man has his moments- throughout the day he wants to play and be rough but then when its time for Momma to go to bed- He's really really lovey...I would much rather have a boy now that I have had Tiny...The females tend to stick with Daddy's - Males tend to stick with Mommy- Thats just what I have always heard- There's a few that are opposite but not very often? Good luck with your choice..We all would like to know what you get and see PICTURES!!! |

| Up until I got Gage, I had always wanted nothing but females, wouldn't DREAM of having a male dog in my house!!! But boy did Gage change my mind - and quick! He is my lap-baby, wants to be right there with me no matter where I am (sitting at the computer, laying on the couch, sitting on the floor - he's there!). Gabby, on the other hand, although she's a sweetie, she's not the "lover" that he is. She'd rather be left to herself and wants loving ONLY when she wants it! Gage was a "marker" until I got him fixed but now he's turned into quite the "squatter" when he pees. I've only seen him mark outside - he's pee pad trained inside and always squats and he'll also do his business outside. As for your choice, you can't go wrong with either sex. But I can tell you, when the time comes for me to get another furbaby, I'm looking for a male - but that's my choice. Best of luck to you

| Male definetly! I have one of each and they are as different as night & day! Both are Loyal and clingy in their own way......Artie is very mellow, sweet, affectionate & loving. Abigail is a Terrier, always hunting, chasing, digging and getting into troulble, stubborn. If she kisses you she acts like she's doing you a favor. Artie learns much faster and I never have to reprimand or correct him after I've done once. Abigail on the other hand you have to do it over and over, once she gets past her attitude. She still sleeps in the Bed with us and niether one of them leaves my side, even when I'm on YT. One is on the Desk and the other is sleeping in my lap. I do prefer the males simply b/c they only want to make you Happy and are more eager to please! I still dress him and have a topnot in his hair everyday as well as Abigail, I just make sure he wears gender correct styles & colors......sorry No Pastels fo him. They compliment each other, what one is lacking the other has. So it balances out? From what I have seen males love woman and the females love men, I can tell by the way my 2 interact w/me and my BF. that, that is true in my case. But to begin with I chose both for their Personality and how they interacted with one another, I actually let them choose each other when I went to pick her out @ her Breeder's House! Good Luck deciding......they usually choose you anyway, even though you think you are choosing them |

| How funny is this...My boy is the most lovable baby and always wants to be on me while my girl is to herself...doesn't really like to cuddle and always getting into everything she can get to. I was beginning to think something was wrong with her. Now I see that most of the girls have this same personality. |

| Years ago our first Yorkie was a male, and was as sweet as they get. One of the things we didn't like was the fact that every time he peed, even though he was neutered very young, he would stink up his coat. So, we had to keep him in a puppy cut to avoid daily baths. This time we decided that we wanted to be able to grow the coat out, plus we didn't want her going outside to potty, and indoor pottying with a female seemed like it would be less messy. So far everything is great. Hope that your decision isn't too difficult. Either way, I bet you'll be happy. |

| In all of my life, I've never had a boy in the house - just outside. I have loved all of my little girls - so sweet and so much fun to dress up all girly. They never mark, either.

| I've had both and personlly prefer the girl. Personally I think depends on the dog. I like the girl b/c I like to dress them up and do their hair. My girl is mischevious, funny, chases birds and flies, fetches, and can be a boy sometimes but is also very sweet, loves to cuddle and kiss and can be mellow or hyper and is my shadow. I guess I have the best of both worlds. If I could do it all over again, I'd get a girl b/c these are foofy dogs and I can dress them up. |

| I have both males and females. I say choose the one that works best for you. As for personality types, it varies from dog to dog not from male to female. You can have cuddly females as easily as you can have cuddly males. It just depends on the personality of each dog. I love my boys, but I personally prefer girls. You don't have to worry about marking or humping with girls like you do with boys. In some cases girls do the same thing but most of the time you don't get a female that markes or humps. I have had several females and not one of them marked or humped anything. Also, with boys it is hard to keep them clean. My boys both have sanitary cuts but they still end up peeing on themselves and smelling like pee. Females you don't have to worry about them peeing on themselves or smelling like pee. My favorite plus of having a female, is that there are soooo many cute girly outfits, collars and other stuff you can buy them. It is your decision though, and only you will know what you will be happiest with. Good luck with your decision.
