| I do the same thing. Don't let their comments get to you. You have to do what is best for your pups. I lock mine up in their pen when people come over so they arn't jummping all over my guests and also so my pups don't get over handled or hurt.

| I would just let it go in one ear and out the other, those people know nothing! i put all of mine in their cage if people come over simply for the reason im worried people will tread on them or they will get annoyed having a pack of hyper babies all over them! |

| What? That's crazy! Hopefully they are kidding...if not, tell them it's none of their business. I leave Trixie in my house everyday when I go to work. Is that abuse? Noooo. Don't let these people get to you. YOU know that your spoil and love Brownie, that's all that matters! |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Omg! Insane!! OMG are you kidding me?? People have actually told you that you are abusing Brownie because you leave him INSIDE!?!??? That is insane!!! Sorry, but whoever told you that is completely insane. lol. Who in the HECK takes their dog outside with them EVERY SINGLE TIME they step outside??? That is absurd!!!! I have never even heard of such a thing. The last thing I heard, it was much more "abusing" toward your animals if you left them OUTSIDE in the sweltering heat, or out in the cold. And not to mention what the heck are you supposed to do with them when you leave the house to go to work, the grocery store, etc.? You can't take them EVERYWHERE with you for pete's sake!! Some people, I tell ya...

| I, too, find it hard to believe that people think you are abusing your dog because you leave it inside the house. I'm not criticizing you - but it would be nice if your dogs didn't do the things that they are kept in the house or in a cage for. Mine don't bark (much) and don't bother visitors for more than the first minute or two they are here. But - "No" -- I don't think you are abusing your dogs. Carol Jean |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Lenora. What a TERRIBLE mom you are making that poor baby stay in the house where all his toys and beds and treats are.... & that terrible window he's looking out of where he can SEE you ? .....Well... That needs to go too. ( he probably has a cushion and everything) How could you ???? Bad girl !!! |

| That's definitely not abuse. Tell the people that if they don't like seeing your dogs in crates, then don't come over and they won't have to be crated. |

| We'll put Keeley in his cage when we have some vistors (the non-dog people or little people that poke, pull and try to "play" with him). It is fine!!! If you were harming Brownie I could see it be abuse, but if you politely leave him inside, or in his cage when you have company, big whoop! You are fine! You should let them see why leave Brownie inside next time and they may be singing a different tune. |
