I, too, find it hard to believe that people think you are abusing your dog because you leave it inside the house.
I'm not criticizing you - but it would be nice if your dogs didn't do the things that they are kept in the house or in a cage for. Mine don't bark (much) and don't bother visitors for more than the first minute or two they are here.
But - "No" -- I don't think you are abusing your dogs.
