| Are we crazy? I was just wondering if owners of other breeds of dogs are as crazy about their breed as we all are of ours. Is it the Yorkie that just makes all of us ooooo and aaaahh. I can't see me being this obsessed with any other breed as I am of my Yorkie that I would find myself addicted to a web page that all they do is talk about their dogs. Is anyone following me? Yorkies are so darn precious! |

| Oh, I am with you! I took Sully to petsmart the other week and there was a lady in there, holding a cute little tiny puppy. I asked her what kind of dog it was and she said it was a 6week old pit bull. I found myself thinking "PIT BULL? WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU WANT ONE OF THOSE WHEN YOU COULD HAVE A YORKIE?" But I politely smiled and pet the puppy on the head and went about my way, with MY yorkie....happy as can be.

| others Well I think it happens to other people with other breeds but only if its the right one for the person or either if they are obsessive compulsive. My boyfriend is a Golden Labrador guy and if he sees anything resembling a labrador or retriver he goes haywire and it drives me insane. It's funny cause I don't understand it and can't see what he sees in them. But then again they make me physical ill. LOL Im sure he thinks the same thing of me and my yorkie except the physicaly ill part! |

| Thats funny!!!! Thats the way I feel also. I don't know why anyone would want any dog other than a yorkie. I think they are the cutest dog going.

| I truly think a Yorkie does capture your heart. I have Annabelle my Schnauzer and she just doesn't have the personality that Schatzie does however she is still as loved. Schatzie's like my little play toy, my doll, my world!! Then again, when I went to Schatzie's breeder to pick up Schatzie from a babysit session the breeder had this long haired gorgeous Chihuauha. Her personality was so loving and sweet, I fell in love with her instantly. I asked if she was for sale but I was told no. Unfortuntatley she will be turned into a breeder, broke my heart. I really wanted her!

| Yorkie people I believe Yorkie people will spend the most outrageous amounts of money for stuff!! On EBAY, Mary Holdstad auctions off her "Yorkie Bears"...over the last year or so some have sold for $10,000, another for $8,000, $6,000....$10, 000 for a stuff animal., can you believe it,.and if I had that kind of money I would have bid $15,000 LOL She also makes other breeds and those buyers never go anywhere near that kind of money...they bid fair market amounts like /$300/$400/$500. I actual paid $78 for a small mohair Yorkie on EBAY, I refused to let anyone out bid me...then I found the same Yorkie on Cottage Collectibles for $12..so I dressed a teddy bear and stuck the Yorkie in it's arms and put it on EBAY..sold for $315..Yorkie people are totally bonkers. |

| I'm with you guys. Ever since I got Toto and i found this website i have been hooked like bubble gum. I can't seem to get off it. As soon as i get to work i log in and make the screen go minmize so my boss and coworkers won't see. The only time i get off is if they seem to be catching on. But otherwise i'm on it all day. I even take my lunch and stay on it. I love being part of yorkietalk i have learned so many things. |

| I also have two dalmations but they don't want to be babied like Lily does. They like love and affection but when they have had enough, thats it. Liliy is just such a spunky, happy little girl. She doesn't have bad moods and doesn't seem to want or need any alone time. Does anyone else's Yorkie ever want or need to be alone?
