| She's beautiful. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty convinced Ginger's color is still changing a bit...she'll be two at the end of August. She changed a lot the first year, but I'm still noticing subtle changes..

| Welcome and thanks for sharing pics of your baby. In my experience, they get lighter if anything. Lacy was very silver and blonde, but she took almost three years to get the color of yours. At only 8 months yours lightened very quickly. |

My furkids Donating Member | to YT!! She is adorable!! Sadie was mostly black when she was a puppy..gold/tan points on the face and legs...she is now 2 1/2 yrs old and the only thing that changed on her was her face and head..it changed to gold/tan. but, her back (body) stayed black..legs are the gold/tan also. I would say at 8 months old and being that light she is going to stay that color...She is soo pretty! There are alot of breeders on this site that will be able to give you more info...this is just MO

| thanks for all your great comments and help. Her coat is really confusing me because she gets dark grey roots and then silver all over again. it sort of reminds me of a zebra! |

I know exactly how you feel when you say it keeps changing at the roots. Mine is still doing that and she's now 16 months old. I notice now she has some black hairs sprinkled through her coat on her back! It's like watching the transformation of a rainbow sometimes! Below is a picture of mine when she was 8 months old. You can see where the black starts on her sides.
