| Tail or no Tail ? I grew up in America, so my image of what certain breed dogs look like is based on what I saw there, now being in the UK I have seen a whole new wonderful side tot he little guys that I never knew of......Tail or no Tail what Ya think? I personally think..Moe's tail is such a beautiful banner, why would anyone want to take that away? It doesn't cause any extra mess, it's not in his way, and it's so darned cute to see him waggin it!

| Hello, I am from Ireland but live in Finland. Growing up our dogs' tails were always snipped when they were young but in Finland it is not allowed. As such Poppy has a lovely wee tail....well actually its almost the length of her !!! I love it so much even when it wacks off the wooden floors as she scratches and wakes me up!

| My Hungarian baby will have a tail (I'll see it for the first time in person tomorrow!) and I will most likely have it docked when she is around a year of age. Simply my preference to have that nub! |

| I would say no tail. But that's what I'm used to. My daughter said to me not too long ago that she thought tails looked funny because she is used to Gus's nub

| I have always had yorkie with a docked tail, we brought our 3 babies back to Holland when we left South Africa, i honestly couldnt have imagined a yorkie with a tail. In 2000 docking was banned in Europe, and i thought i would never own a yorkie puppy again due to the tails. When i saw them at first i told my husband "thats a sight for sore eyes" i take back those words now.... but i must admit, it took me 5 years to get used to seeing yorkies with tails. When we got Chelsey (feb. 2005) i looked at her tail and it somehow felt odd, we kept discussing the tail, but as she grew we got used to it, accepted the fact that docking is illegal here. Now when we see a yorkie outside with a docked tail, we know it's got to be older then 6 years of age.

| I have one of each. And while I like the look of the wee stump cos it looks neat and finished if I had the choice I'd leave the tail on (Dixie's was docked before I contacted the breeder). Who am I to deny my babies what they were born with, just for aesthetics?
