I have always had yorkie with a docked tail, we brought our 3 babies back to Holland when we left South Africa, i honestly couldnt have imagined a yorkie with a tail.
In 2000 docking was banned in Europe, and i thought i would never own a yorkie puppy again due to the tails.
When i saw them at first i told my husband "thats a sight for sore eyes" i take back those words now.... but i must admit, it took me 5 years to get used to seeing yorkies with tails.
When we got Chelsey (feb. 2005) i looked at her tail and it somehow felt odd, we kept discussing the tail, but as she grew we got used to it, accepted the fact that docking is illegal here. Now when we see a yorkie outside with a docked tail, we know it's got to be older then 6 years of age.
