| One puppy or two I have an opportunity to get two females from the same litter. Is this a good idea or not? I know eventually I want two Yorkies. Is it better to get two puppies at the same time or just one for now and later on get another one. What are the pros and cons. Thank You! |

| I got two puppies one month apart and was glad I did it that way. The grew up together and there was no adjustment period. Potty training was a little more tricky but Jewels tended to follow Chachi

| I think that getting 2 at the same time would be the best thing to do! That way you dont have to go through the whole jealousy thing!

| I can't speek from experience but I wish I would have brought home 2 furbabies when we got Bailey. He is only 5 months but I don't think it would be much more work, but it would be double the pleasure. He is such an added joy to our lives, I can't remember being without him. The only reason I haven't allready gotten another is because we want to be financially prepared for any medical conditions in Bailey or a new babe.

| Getting 2 at the same time will save you a lot of jealousy issues later on. There's an age difference of 3 months between my girls, i'm GLAD i didnt prolong it. Chelsey was 5 months when Chanel came along, i was amazed to see how jealous she already was at THAT age. She "pouted" for 2 weeks and didnt want to know Chanel's story. Now the one can't do ANYTHING without the other one lol... its SO much fun to see them getting along like they do! Good luck we waiting to see pics here

| Somebody once told me that getting two pups at the same time (which, to me sounds like HEAVEN) will create issues with training and can sometimes lead to the puppies bonding to each other NOT their human family. I don't know if it's true. I would love to have two pups at the same time! |

| I sold two puppies to a family in March... one was from my Lucy and the other was from my Wilma (they had litters 3 days apart).... I've heard from the family since then and they said that there was never any crying or anything because the two pups had each other. They were real happy they purchased the two together. If you really want two... you might want to consider getting them together. Best of luck with whatever you choose to do!

| I have heard the same thing, that the puppies would not bond to me but each other. Is this true? Has anyone gotten two at one time? |

I think potty training might be a little harder, but maybe one will catch on first and train the other one. They would be on the same feeding schedule. It's hard to bring in a new puppy when you have an older dog because he wants to eat the puppy food. Other than, all the expenses at the same time and maybe losing them from old age at the same time, I think it would be a good idea. | |
