Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Have you ever stepped on your furbaby? OMG, i feel so bad this afternoon. I was working at the stove and didn't realize that Jill had awakened from her nap. When I stepped to the left I heard a blood curdling cry. I had stepped on her paw. I picked her up right away and told her how sorry I was. She seemed to understand because she gave me kisses. When I scooted her outside she was limping a little but by the time she was ready to come inside, she shot through the door as if it didn't happen. Lesson learned. Keep the door to the expen closed when she is in there sleeping. I know she will let me know when she wakes up! Have any of you ever stepped on your furbaby?

| Yes, many times. These little ones always seem to be under your feet. Thank god they have never been hurt, I just have to remember to do the yorkie shuffle around them, lol. One of the worst thing I've done is close the door on Daisy May pretty hard, I felt awful. |

| Yes, I almost think it hurts our hearts more than their tiny feet. Usually only takes once or twice and they stay clear of the feet. We too, at our house do the Yorkie shuffle.

| Ferret collar I always think I'm going to have some great advice for someone and then someone else beats me to it!! I used a ferret collar on my last little yorkie and it worked great.

| Until I got on YT, I thought that I was the only one that did the Yorkie Shuffle!! We also call it the "puppy scoot". It really doesn't take that long to learn it either. On or two steps on the little guys and you'll have it down in no time!!! Suz

| Oh yes we do the yorkie shuffle But Dougal's such a drama queen. If we accidently stand on him he crys and crys and limps up to me. Then I pick him up and give him a cuddle and when I put him down he's off again at warp factor nine. Not a single hint of a limp! The bell is a good idea, but I think poor old dougal'd feel very unmanly with a bell going tinkle tinkle !

| My girls do the PEOPLE shuffle! They have both learned that being stepped on is not a good experience! I see them watch our feet and they move themselves out of our way like they have some kind of forcefield around them or something!
