| potty pads and vomit i know many of us who indoor train our puppies train them to pee and poo on the potty pad, but has anyone tried to train them to vomit there as well? bunjee has been experiencing an upset tummy of late and threw up a few times in the morning for the past couple days. there's been a few barf accidents on my carpet. so now, rather than letting him barf on the carpet or on a towel, when i start hearing his heaving, i've been picking him up and taking him to the potty pad to throw up. well, this morning, i walk over to check on the potty pad and see a little vomit puddle. (not bile this time, just water and a couple nearly digested kibbles, like he drank water too quickly and threw part of it up). it was half off the pad and half on the pad. evidently he threw up water this morning and tried to aim for the pad. i wonder if he's getting the impression that the potty pad is the place to pee, poo, and vomit. if he's catching on to that, it's totally non-intentional on my part, but i thought it was kinda neat. although i wish he didn't have to throw up at all. |

| Honestly ..yes. Kodie runs to the puppy pad when he is about to vomit. I think because I taught him the word.. "puppy pad". One time when he was going to vomit.. I saw him..and I screamed.. "On your puppy pad!!".. he then RAN over to it and vomited on it.. haha. Really cute actually. Now he associates anything to do with body waste with the puppy pad... lol. I would say what your experiencing is normal |
