| Impossible to break them of the sock habit! My yorkies and my yorkie-poo are hooked on socks, and I've just resigned myself to their addiction, and have changed my lifestyle to insure that all under-garments are put in a very tall hamper, lol. The crate issue. . . crates working for us, so I'll let someone with more knowledge and experience advise you on this! Good luck!!

| I don't know if this will work with socks, but you could try Bitter Apple spray. I sprayed it on stuff so my Bichon would stop chewing on it. And boy did she hate the spray. Or like someone else said, don't leave your socks in the puppy's reach. That's probably the most effective way. lol |

| I sure don't know what it is about socks. dirty or clean, Ahia goes after them. I have to close the laundry room door while removing them from the drier just in case i drop one. she is there to scarf it up and run with it never to see it again. anytime i see her flying thru the room I know she has something that she should not have and she knows it. I just yell out who wants a treat and she drops it there. i give a treat and it is a mad rush to see if i can beat her back to it.

| I figure if I drop one its fair game, hannah grabs all socks big and small, I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and she actually takes her socks off and gives them to Hannah.. Its a riot to see her running full speed with a runaway sock LOL!!! |

| I try to keep the socks away from Dezi, but when she does get them, I know where to find them. Underneath my bed! She runs and hides them. |
