| laws about selling dogs to canadians i have a friend in canada, that might be interested in a pup. Of course, i mentioned my breeder, that amazing stacey, one of the best, if not the best breeder around. I dont think i have ever really started one of these threads. Thought it might be a cool idea to do so. My question is, with all this security, in and out of the country, are there alot of rules and regs in taking a pup to canada? Stacey, if i do buy one for my friend, i want one of yours..(well, ill buy it and she will reimburse me) i aint Mr.Moneybags..How hard is it to do and what are the requirements necessary? |

| Trying to move this up - so you'll get some responses. I have no clue -as to the laws and/or regulations regarding buying a pup in Canada. There are a lot of Canadian breeders on the Internet -- E-mail at least two or three of them and ask them about whatever requirements are necessary. I'm sure they'd be happy to get back to you with some answers. (E-mail is free.) Good Luck! Carol Jean |

| Hi, I won't be much help..............................but, it was EASY getting mine out of Canada. Just have to make sure they arrive on a flight at a time Customs is still open. I have another coming in from Canada Monday, we wanted the weekend, but Customs being closed stoped that. Good Luck! Angie |

| The same but different.... I know someone that was traveling and living in Mexico for the last year, and adopted a dog while he lived there. Well he came back (by car) this fall and he said they didn't check the dog for any kind of documentation or ANYTHING!!! I was shocked!! He said they were busy and just waved them through...
