| They know me as mommy. They go crazy if I say dinner or park because that is their favorite things.

| Quite a bit. I can't count them exactly. She knows enough to where I have to actually spell them out. A favorite Sentence around here is: (Husband) tell her N O P I N K Y. That's her favorite ball we've dubbed pinky. Tell me something, Captain? I've been made fun of, but I swear to you, she'll actually seem like she's trying to mimic words. Have you or any one else experienced this? |

| When Dexter wants something, there are times he seems to be trying to talk to me

| It's crazy. I've gotten some of it on video. She's a handful of times sounded very close to mommy- which we still cringe even saying or typing out it sounds so ridiculous- and every morning she'll do her growl/whine/grumble when we say Good Morning!!! |

Our girl isn't allowed to jump at us or bark to get our attention so she does her best to "talk." It just makes us laugh! If I resort to spelling mode, I see her ears perk up. She knows something is going on but since banana and "b" are so close............guess I should spell it "anana." | |

| I'm pretty sure my baby boy Diesel knows way more words than he lets on. He's always listening intently and always eager to please. He even does all his tricks with no treat or rewards. He has started to learn the names of his toys, and now I'm considering training him to put away his toys too lol! |

| Shuggie: We want kisses Hugs: We want hugs It's the brown truck: UPS man Where's Boo?: My nickname for my son -- they go looking for him Are you ready to go get Boo?: Run to the door to get in the car to go pick my son up from wherever Go Potty: We want you to go potty Bacon: Do you want a treat? Where's your brother?: Whichever one (Zeus or Perseus) will look for the other Go outside: Run to the door to go outside Ready to go: We're all going on a car trip Want your medicine?: Getting pill poppers with Pepcid -- yay Are you smiling at mommy?: Perseus shows you his teeth in a "smile" when you come home -- utter sweetness Talk to mommy: Perseus does this low sound that sounds like the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz Is it a booger, intruder, or spookable?: Zeus runs to the window barking What is it?: Ears up and immediately listening for something Where's Daddy?: Go to the window to look out and wait for my husband Their favorite and the phrase they wait for: Are you ready to go night-night? Immediately run to the ramp and up to the bed I'm sure they know more, but these are the most common ones they hear every day. I sure love my two boys more than anything. The greatest joy ever! |
