| Black yorkie I have a female chocolate yorkie and she gave birth 2 months ago (3rd litter). She has 4 pups ( 2 blacks, 1 solid gold, 1 chocolate). Sire is teacup yorkie. I know my yorkie has recessive genes and she produced biewer yorkie on her 1st litter. I was just wondering why she has pure black pups with no tint of brown at all. I was looking for article about black yorkie but I always get yorkie and poodle mix articles. Does it mean that my yorkie has poodle bloodline? |

| Welcome to YT. Before you mated your female the first time, did you check her genetic back ground several generations back, on her parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc. to see what and how those litters were, and did you do the same on the stud that you used. If you use other studs their genetic back ground should be research several generations back also. If you did the proper genetic research on both mating pair you would know if pure black puppies run in sire or dam genes. A pure Yorkie cannot produce a Biewer. Biewers are a breed of their own, your yorkie may be a mix and not a pure yorkie that she is throwing tri color pups blonds, chocolate now pure black. You can do a DNA on both sire and dam to see if you have pure yorkies.

| Yorkies can not create Biewers they are there own breed. There is also no such thing as a black yorkie so someone was a mix. You really shouldn't be breeding unless you know the lines pretty far back and you should only be breeding good examples of the breed. There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie if you bought him from a breeder who advertised him that way he never should have been bred because he came from a bad breeder.
