| Do you use a car seat for your yorkie? Wanted to see which car seat works best. Max likes to sit on my side wedged between me and the door hanging his head out in the wind. Also likes it when the convertible top is down and he can blow in the wind. I was just the car behind a rear end collision this morning. The car that hit the other car was in front of me and her side airbags went off so she couldn't get out. I had a ah ha moment that if Max would be where he sits when in the car he would be killed instantly by the airbag. So now I'm on my search for a great car seat..not just a booster seat but one I can strap him in since I drive with the top down with him. Anyone use them and love the one you have?? |

| I use Tagalong Pet Booster seat gotten at Pet Supplies. It's suspended off the passenger seat so the air bag will not deploy if in an accident. It has a short leash attached to the booster seat that clips onto the dogs harness that would keep the dog from being propelled from car. There's a strap that goes over the head rest, another strap that goes around the seat that holds the booster seat in place. Height of seat can be adjusted. I suggest doggie goggles for a convertible to keep debris from getting in dogs eyes. Years back I had a convertible and 3 yorkies, I found this to be an issue.

| I use a snoozer and love them! I prefer the luxury ones because they are softer and have a pillow that can make it more cushy. It's extremely important to have them secured some how. A lot of dogs can get injured or die in car crashes. You can go to my blog in my signature to see my review or the snoozer.
