| Question about Microchip I noticed a small bump on the back of Toby's neck that worried me. Today I noticed that Tina has a small bump too. I really had to feel around to find it. We are hoping it is just their chips but we couldn't feel them on our other pups. Can you normally feel the chip through the skin?

| The gentleman who chipped Piper advised me to be careful of that area her neck for a couple of days immediately following insertion. He added chip could be felt through the skin if one was making that effort, however it wouldn't be felt when simply petting and such. I don't know if that helps... |

| Thanks. I'm going to be sure to have the vet look at it when they go in on Jul 5th.

| Katie's chip is in her shoulder, and it most definitely can be felt. My dear friend's little Que Tee, also from the same breeder as Katie, is there, too, and I can feel it, too. It feels like a small piece of rice. If you don't know the number of your chip, your vet can scan it and tell it to you. Congratulations on your two beautiful new family members. I am so happy for you! I hope they bring you infinite love and happiness and that they protect and help to heal your broken heart. Microchip Search | AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup

| Thank you so much! It does feel like a tiny piece of rice. These precious babies are just what we needed to begin the healing process. I just pray that the vet visit goes well. Even though the rescue told us we could bring them back within two weeks and get a full refund if they don't work out, these babies won't be leaving, ever!
