| Is Romeo a red legged yorkie??? Is Romeo a red legged yorkie??? It is not something I know much about but I have seen other people on this site posting about red legged yorkies...I was not sure if he was...there were no reports of other red legged or short haired yorkies to his breeder...His hair is not growing fast, and it is dry and wirey feeling. Here are some pictures of him...Any responses are welcomed. :c)

| Redneck Yorkie I'm sorry, I have to say this....when I first read the thread topic, I thought it said, "Is Romeo a Redneck Yorkie?" PS. Sorry if I offended anyone, but had to get that out.

| He looks like it to me also. He is still a pup, right? If his legs and coat length and quality stay like that as an adult, I'm pretty sure that is what he is. Some Yorkies never get long hair, but your's has all the qualifications of a redleg from what I can see. There really isn't that much info. on them out there in cyber space. I have tried to read up on it before. |

| What about this picture makes u guys think this is a red legged yorkie? i have not seen anything on the net about a red legged yokie. I've tried to do some research because I think my coco is one. Her hair is very coarse and she is over one years old and it won't grow but she does not have deep red coloring or even brown and she does not look like the yorkie in the picture except for the large ears. LOL.. I call cocos ears "bat wings" thats what they look like when she has them straight out. and here is coco if u can tell by the picture |

Iv never seen a yorkie with any other colour on its legs..correct me if Im wrong Jess has that VERY slow growing fur too, infact, its stopped growing at 3 inches long (she will be 2 in april). Its not coarse at all though, its very silky, easy to brush and soft.Iv uploaded two pictures, one of her at 4 months and one of her now. |

| Wolftrap I would say no to the redleg. I call my Yorkies little bats sometimes too. I just trimmed the hair from Mercedes ears and they look so little now. Coco is a cutie Last edited by Julz; 01-18-2006 at 05:03 PM. |

| here is a couple pics of my red leg. Ive mentioned this before its been said but I havent been able to validate it as yet, her last breeding didnt take because I was only able to get one tie. BUT Hannah is a red leg and breeding her its said she has the ability to clarify color. Her next heat will be in late spring (May) she will be bred again.
