| Not only do I not know what to get for Christmas....ZoE is 4 years old next week and I don't know what to get her for her birthday! Inwent nuts the first few years and she literally has everything she needs, and many things in multiple. She has 2 strollers, 3 carseats, 6 carriers, 2 cooling pads, tons of blankets, a whole tub of extra toys i bought and put away for future use, and harnesses and leashes galore. So I'm thinking this year isnt going to be so much about the stuff as about the time. I' thinking for her birthday, we will go for a walk on our local trail, and I'll take her to visit a doggie & humans friends she really likes, and we'll pick up mostaccioli from our favorite Italian restaurant for dinner. For Christmas, both my kids will be home, so ZoE will think that is a real treat and will get spoiled with plenty of loving. That and a new squeaky toy and she'll be as happy as can be!

| I had all sorts of things on my list but my husband told me to get NOTHING because he's got a "surprise" for us all (me, teen, cat and dog) on Christmas Eve. He specifically told me to not get any clothing so now I'm dying of curiosity since I've never bought any clothing for Teddy! I don't have any suggestions but I can definitely tell you this Christmas quandary has been running through my mind, too! I guess if Teddy is disappointed by Santa's presents, I can feel good about not taking the blame..ha! |

| Since they have not been deprived the rest of the year, there is not much they need. I usually buy them a 25 pc. package of Bully Sticks. Their stockings are usually filled with treats. They especially like the dried liver treats from Trader Joes and they will get CET toothpaste in there. They also get heartworm and flea and tick preventative in their stockings and if I cant think of anything else I may give them a gift certificate to the vet My friend from work also gives them a gift bag with all kinds a presents in it. They do pretty well!

| Since I just adopted my Teddy on November 24, I wanna get a few necessities with a couple treats! I'm thinking a cage that's his size (he has a hand me down from a pit so it's 5 times too big and has a hole), another squeaky toy (he has this doggy and he loves it to pieces almost literally), and a cute treat from the pet store! Ooh also target had pajamas so I got us matching pjs for Christmas Eve which he's been learning to wear each night a few hours |

| I have already bought my pup some new Christmas toys which I gave her yesterday cause I couldn't wait lol. She is a spoiled girls so everyday is like Christmas for her. I was thinking about making her some home made doggy treats but I think she may be a little to young for them. She is currently only 11 weeks old and I wouldn't want to upset her tummy. |

| Billi's getting a little brother and they're both getting a bunch of toys, treats & bullysticks, a bigger car seat and they'll each get a couple shirts, sweaters and jackets. The little boy will get a couple extra collars to start him off and we'll talk to dad about getting a stroller for them. We tend to spoil the munchkins on Christmas, we take Christmas very seriously in this house!

| lol, something I regretted teaching my past girls. When ever I went shopping I would by them a treat or toys, when I came home I would tease and taunt them with the bags and let them trip the bags till they retrieved what was in them lol. Then one day I went food shopping, they tore open shopping bags that had meat in them, lol, what a mess lol. I chase Cody away from all bags lol.

| Today I got him 3 sweaters, a faux leather motor cycle jacket, another camouflage coat in brown and some rubber squeaky toys. I am on the hunt for more sweaters.Toys will be wrapped, last year I had him only 4 weeks, he didn't know how to unwrap (shred) wrapped items, could be he had not yet gained confidence that he would not get into trouble for shredding, he shreds tissues, napkins and what ever, never gets reprimanded, so maybe this year he will unwrap his prezies.

I felt guilty for not letting Teddy open anything on his birthday (I didn't have him Christmas last year) so thought that I may let him try this present opening thing this year after reading these posts. But, your post re: your experience means that I probably won't let him open presents! The last thing he needs is to acquire another annoying habit! | |
