I felt guilty for not letting Teddy open anything on his birthday (I didn't have him Christmas last year) so thought that I may let him try this present opening thing this year after reading these posts.
But, your post re: your experience means that I probably won't let him open presents! The last thing he needs is to acquire another annoying habit!
