| One ear flopped back down. Why? Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where to post this so I decided to here. I noticed a couple of days ago that one of my Maisie Mae's ears have flopped back down. They have been straight up since a few days after she came home and her left ear is flopped over again! It is really cute, but why did this happen? I attached two pictures of her ears before and her ears now so you could get a better look. Thanks everyone

| Sometimes they will go down when they are teething but will usually come back up. It will also help them to stand if you keep the hair clipped off the upper third of the ear. She's a real cutie pie ears up or ears down! |

| It almost always happens when they are teething. MeSo's ears are down after just going up. If they were up at one time, they usually will go up after teething. Give her something to chew on to get those muscles strong. I use a baby washcloth that is frozen, she loves it.

| Agree with trimming hair on ears, keeps the weight off. she is a lil sweetie either way.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Sometimes when they're teething, their ears can flop. I would take some weight off of her ears by trimming up a bit. Here is how to tape them to get it to stand again: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pup...-stand-up.html

| Ok, now I am curious! Why would teething cause their ears to flop? |
